Although I love our Bend Parks and Recreation District, the fact that I am $50,000.00 underwater on my house mortgage (according to the newly sent out property tax bills)...and pay alreayd $225.00 a year to Parks and Rec, that the additional burden of paying them even more is hard to swallow. How do people that don't have a property tax burden share some of this new funding that parks and recreation will be getting? Just wish they would have waited until things rebounded a bit before asking for so much more for things that really in the grand scheme can wait. Just my opinion.....
